Obsessing over nothing
To celebrate a 'no news weekend' (see [info]redbeardedblond's post) I started looking through my old vinyl. I'm not sure why I did that, not having a record player or anything. Of course now I'm obsessed with playing a 12" of "Sample That!" by Bang Orchestra! because [info]bigsabu informed me that "I have not heard that."

Not one illegal download to be found! In this case it's not exactly illegal, just saving me the effort of finding a record player and digitizing it myself.

I'm going to try and post more.

Stop laughing.

If you hear Sample That, then you're just going to want to hear Kon Kan's "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden" or Bronski Beat's "Hit That Perfect Beat". Maybe even Steinski & Mass Media's "We'll be right back".

Those other songs I already have on CD. It's amazing to think that in 1986 there were no CD singles... or very few.
